Where does East Hamilton running back Juan Bullard like to spend his time during the fall?

Bullard is a one man scoring machine for the Hurricanes, and he hopes to maintain his touchdown prowess tonight as East Hamilton kicks off their season against Ooltewah. News 12’s Brian Armstrong chases down the Hurricanes’ Mr. Touchdown.

Juan Bullard is no stranger to the end zone. He had 29 touchdown last season alone, averaging nearly 3 scores per game.

Said Bullard:”Just keep grinding, keep working. Be motivated on every thing I do. Just keep on the grind, keeping my mind focused.”

He was quick to credit his offensive line.

Said Bullard:”Offensive line is a big key to everything and every offense. We have a Lot of returning starters this year that’s gonna be a big thing for us this year too.”

And it didn’t take him long at all to say what his favorite touchdown was.

Said Bullard:”When we played Portland. I broke like four or five tackles I like the 15 yard line and scored and sealed the game.”

This year will be different for him as he will be lined up at quarterback due to expected started Lake Clark suffering a knee injury.

Said head coach Grant Reynolds:”Juan is a position where he’s kind of inexperienced but he stepped up and doing the right thing that he needs to try to leave the team. He’s got some good players around him so he doesn’t have to do it all himself.”

Coach Reynolds says the fact that Bullard is willing to put the team before himself shows how mature he is.

Said Reynolds:”It means he’s unselfish. That’s what we talk about all the time a lot of our kids are good kids that are on selfish that want to go out and compete on Friday night”.

He says despite the 29 scores last years first round playoff lost hurt and has fueled the team coming into this season.

Said Bullard:”Our work ethic has changed this year based on last year. We’re more aggressive team, our line is bigger upfront than last year. But we’ve also younger the more aggressive we got that feistiness so I feed off their energy they feed off my energy so we go off that.”
